Rap Song’s Amazing Message: “Mommy Am I in Your Womb or Swimming in My Grave?”

Rap Song’s Amazing Message: “Mommy Am I in Your Womb or Swimming in My Grave?”

by Christina Martin | Washington, DC | | 9/27/13 3:45 PM

The last words of the rap are chilling:

“But if I’m inside of you why do I feel miles away, Am I really in your womb or just swimming in my grave?”

Brandon Kagel was born into a Jewish family as a triplet with two sisters and an older brother. This Phoenix, Arizona native is now a devoted husband and father of two. Brandon is also a rapper who goes by “The Rep.” Brandon’s first project titled “Street Prophecy” was released in 2001. He toured across the U.S drawing fans from the gospel industry as well as the secular.

I found Brandon online when I stumbled upon a rap video about abortion. The video titled, “13th floor” is a heart rending poem spoken from the perspective of an unborn baby.

“Mommy, I’m only five weeks old but I can feel my heart.  The doctor says I’ll see you in November but were still in March. By the way Mommy, what the doctor says is a lie; you don’t have to worry my body’s developing just fine. So please tell Daddy that he doesn’t have to cry no more. Jesus finished with my brain; he’s working on my spinal cord.

Brian got the inspiration for his poem through an experience with his wife. Years ago his wife came home weeping loudly after volunteering at Crisis Pregnancy Center. Brian feared she’d gotten in an accident or was hurt. To his surprise his wife was sobbing because she saw a video of an abortion procedure for the first time.

Obamacare Insurance Plans Will Limit Your Hospital and Specialist Choices

Obamacare Insurance Plans Will Limit Your Hospital and Specialist Choices

Starting Tuesday, October 1, people around the country will begin enrolling in “exchanges” mandated by the Obama Health Care Law, choosing their health insurance for 2014. When they do so, however, many will find their alternatives limited to cut-rate plans that allow them to see only narrow groups of health care providers that exclude the best specialists and health care centers.

A New York Times article titled, “Lower Health Insurance Premiums to Come at Cost of Fewer Choices” explains!

Senate Democrats Block Republicans’ Effort to Defund Pro-Abortion Obamacare

Senate Democrats Block Republicans’ Effort to Defund Pro-Abortion Obamacare

With the Senate voting 54-44 on a party-line vote today, Senate Democrats blocked an effort by Republicans to de-fund the Obamacare legislation that pro-life groups oppose because it will fund abortions and presents rationing concerns.

AP has more on the vote: The Democratic-led Senate has blocked an effort to strip money from the president’s health care law. The party-line, 54-44 vote clears the last obstacle to Senate approval of a measures aimed at preventing a government shutdown on Tuesday.

The Fast-paced and Completely Convincing “Case against abortion: prenatal development”

The Fast-paced and Completely Convincing “Case against abortion: prenatal development”

By Dave Andrusko

9-week-240x199Of the three categories of posts on National Right to Life News Today that receive the most response, two are especially adroit at combining appeals to the head and to the heart: prenatal development videos and music videos, such as John Elefante’s wonderful pro-life, pro-adoption “This Time” (“Pro-Life Music Video ‘This Time’ goes viral” ).

I am making my periodic request to National Right to Life News Today readers for your help. Please send along links to videos that illustrate that most miraculous process–how you and I each started out the same but ended up each unique—and pro-life music videos.

To illustrate what I’m looking for, may I offer, “The case against abortion: prenatal development.”

Only 3 minutes and eleven seconds long, the video covers the waterfront –the docks, stevedores, and merchant vessels—at a breakneck speed. In so doing it borrows from many of the finest resources—in print and online—to create a riveting and absolutely convincing case against abortion.

Backed by a pulsating music score, flashing across the screen is the question, “At what point does it become wrong to intentionally abort a developing human being?” Options range from conception through birth.

We Will Pay For 111,500 Abortions

Susan B. Anthony List
Pro-life Friend –
Yesterday, our education and research arm, the Charlotte Lozier Institute, put out a ground-breaking new analysis that shows that under the new Obamacare exchanges, taxpayers will be subsidizing up to 111,500 abortions per year!
Can you imagine?

Pro-life Friend, that means you and I will be complicit in the deaths of more than one hundred thousand children – in just a single year – through our tax dollars.

And with just five days until the largest expansion of taxpayer funded abortion since Roe v. Wade is set to take effect, we need your help.

Donate today: We must fight back against this expansion of taxpayer-funded death by stopping Obamacare.

For the last four years, your SBA has List fought tirelessly to expose the truth that Obamacare opens the floodgates of taxpayer funded abortion.

We’ve done radio, television, and online ads. We’ve done bus tours and held press conferences as well as countless meetings with congressional staffers to ensure Americans understand how Obamacare will hasten the deaths of an untold number of American babies – at taxpayer expense.

We’ve made so much noise about this that, as you know, now ex-Congressman Steve Driehaus even sued us in federal court after we exposed his Obamacare vote as one FOR taxpayer funding of abortion.

Pro-life Friend, I can’t begin to tally up the staff time and effort that’s gone into fighting that lawsuit and also towards educating Americans about the grave reality of this situation.

Please make a donation to help us make an immediate stand against Obamacare.

The Charlotte Lozier Institute team spent hours researching and analyzing the new Obamacare law to figure out just exactly how it works. It is clear that through the Multi-State Plans alone – Americans will be complicit in the deaths of thousands of unborn children each year through their tax dollars.

Not to mention the unfair, unconstitutional, HHS abortion-inducing drug mandate that forces employers of faith and conscience to defy their deeply held beliefs about protecting life.

In the Senate, one of our allies Sen. Ted Cruz spent over 20 hours fighting against Obamacare. He and our other pro-life stalwarts took to the floor of the US Senate making the case against Obamacare.

Many of our allies here in Washington are willing to fight to stop Obamacare in order to protect the unborn and defend our conscience rights.

As we make this stand against Obamacare, we need your help. We’ve got to amplify our voice and reach even more Americans in order to expose the truth.

Will you make a donation to our fight to expose and stop Obamacare?

We must stop this taxpayer funding of abortion on demand by stopping the exchanges from going into effect. With your help today, we can give our allies the help they need to stop Obamacare and halt this epic expansion of abortion.

For Life,

Marjorie Dannenfelser

10 Reasons Why Abortion is Evil & Not a “Pro-Choice”

10 Reasons Why Abortion is Evil & Not a “Pro-Choice”

by John Ritchie | Washington, DC | | 9/26/13 10:00 AM

Since the legalization of abortion in 1973, over 54 million unborn children have been killed, more than the entire population of Spain.  That’s 1 baby every 20 seconds.

By the time you finish reading this article, more than 30 innocent lives will be lost. God’s plan for them will be ruined forever.

Can we remain indifferent to such immense human slaughter? NO.  So please read the top 10 reasons why abortion is wrong and must be opposed:

1. Abortion Offends God

Abortion is never a mere personal choice but a grave offense against God and His creation. The anti-abortion struggle has always been a religious battle and foremost in its ranks have been Catholics across the country. This is because Church teaching on abortion is clear and unequivocal: Abortion is murder. There are no exceptions allowed, no compromises possible.

2. The Unnoticed War

Pro-life leaders praise Ted Cruz’s 21-hour anti-ObamaCare floor speech

WASHINGTON, D.C., September 25, 2013 ( – Senator Ted Cruz’s 21-hour epic floor speech to defund ObamaCare may have won him no friends in the media or GOP leadership, but pro-life and conservative leaders are enthusiastic about his efforts.

“Thank you Senator Cruz for giving a voice to all of us!” said Kristan Hawkins, president of Students for Life of America, this morning.

Troy Newman, president of Operation Rescue, simply said, “Ted Cruz is the man!”

Troy Newman of Operation Rescue says Cruz is “winning”

“I remember about two years ago I was at an event in Houston and someone invited me to a reception for a candidate for Texas U.S. Senator,” Newman continued. “It was some guy I never heard of named Ted Cruz. So, I went, and I thought, ‘Wow this guy is great! But can he win?’ Oh yeah, and Ted Cruz is winning today!”

Other conservatives praised Cruz’s actions, contrasting his passion with that of the president.

“Ted Cruz stayed up all night to fight ObamaCare,” Congressman Steve Stockman, R-TX, quipped on Wednesday morning. “Obama went to bed while Ambassador Stevens [of Libya] was being murdered.”

Others on the other side of the aisle were less receptive.

The Ugly, Unknown Story Behind Roe v. Wade

The Ugly, Unknown Story Behind Roe v. Wade

by Scottie Hughes | Washington, DC | | 9/25/13 11:11 AM

It’s not often that I agree with Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, but she was right for more reasons than she probably realized when she said last year that the Supreme Court’s 1973 decision in Roe v. Wade went “too far, too fast.” Roe protected almost all abortions from the democratic process and led to four decades in which, by even the most conservative estimates, 50 million American babies were aborted and pulled from their mother’s womb.

And, now thanks to a revealing book out this week called Abuse of DiscretionThe Inside Story of Roe v. Wade by veteran attorney Clarke D. Forsythe, we know that Roe was not just one of the most controversial decisions in the Supreme Court’s history, but also a poorly reasoned rush to judgment based on a wealth of misinformation that has since been debunked. The first to look inside the Supreme Court Justices’ papers, Forsythe shows the liberal supporters of the decision made at least three shockingly erroneous assumptions.

First, the Supreme Court justices thought the decision was good for women’s health. There was a widespread belief in certain quarters that “abortion was safer than childbirth.” In the past four decades, many international studies have shown the opposite. The incidence of sexually transmitted diseases and illegitimate pregnancies is likely higher than it would be if abortion were not available on demand. There’s also a risk of domestic violence against pregnant women who refuse to abort their babies. It’s no wonder that expectant mothers in countries like Ireland and Chile, where abortion is highly restricted, have better health than in neighboring nations where abortion is more widely available.

The Transformative Power of Images in Action

The Transformative Power of Images in Action

By Andrew Bair

Rick Guidotti

Rick Guidotti

Images have a transformative power. Images convey ideas in ways words can only envy. Images can change perceptions and encourage action. We can describe to someone the scientific facts of the unborn child’s development but to show them a 4-D ultrasound photo of that child will prove to be even more influential.

As a fashion photographer, Rick Guidotti understood the power of images. Guidotti worked in New York City, Paris and Milan with high-profile clients like Yves St. Laurent, Revlon, L’Oreal, Elle, Harper’s Bazaar and GQ. But his career took an unexpected turn when, one day on a Manhattan street, he was struck by the beauty of a woman with albinism.

Guidotti began to look into various genetic conditions and was startled to find the impersonal way in which people with genetic differences were portrayed. Where he had seen beauty, medical textbooks saw sadness and disease. At that point, Guidotti changed gears on his career and began to focus on capturing the beauty of those with genetic differences.

40 Days for Life Prayer Campaign Against Abortion Starts in 306 Cities Tomorrow
The next 40 Days for Life campaign starts tomorrow in 306 locations — with more than 20 brand-new cities on board for the first time to participate in the pro-life prayer campaign.

That number of cities is an astonishing growth from the early days of the campaign, when it began in Texas as a local event Shawn Carney and other pro-life activists headed.
