“This land that was desolate has become like the garden of Eden…” – Ezekiel 36:35
Friends for Life:
God is doing an amazing work in Northwest Ohio. Calling forth new and emerging leaders in the pro-life and Gospel community, both Catholic and Protestant, to bring the good news of Jesus Christ to the lost, forsaken and broken. Is he calling you?
I have no doubt the Lord is calling you, calling you to deeper commitment, deeper trust, deeper surrender to the Lord and His Church for the sake of the Kingdom. Perhaps he is calling you as never before to be engaged in the fundamental and essential battle for life.
If so, please consider joining us tomorrow, Wednesday May 31st on the sidewalk of Capital Care Abortion Facility, 1160 W. Sylvania Ave., Toledo at 6:30 p.m. for an hour of peaceful, loving and joyful prayer. Each month we gather to be a witness to the abundant life and to raise awareness in the community of the innocent lives that are lost at the last remaining abortion facility in Northwest Ohio. Please consider joining us tomorrow night!
Finally, my wife Laura was kind enough to allow me to host the annual Respect Life “Vision Meeting” at our home on May 11th. We were blessed by 3 tremendous priests from the Diocese of Toledo, as well as 22 other leaders from some fantastic pro-life organizations in Northwest Ohio. I look forward to how the Holy Spirit will unfold what was prayed on and discussed, but in the meantime I wanted to share with you what I shared with those leaders concerning the “The Big 4” initiatives I’m working on this upcoming year and how you can be involved. Please see attached handout (The Big 4) to read about those initiatives.
Together, with and through God’s grace,. The abortion facility in Toledo with our fervent prayer, witness and olive branch to those inside will eventually close. God is doing this. God is doing this amazing work, why not join him in it today?
For the King,
Peter
p.s. In case you missed it last month, Cardinal Timothy Dolan, now chair of the USCCB’s Committee on Pro-Life Activities, reacted to the announcement by the Democratic National Committee’s chair pledging support only for pro-abortion candidates. Calling the pledge “very disturbing,” Cardinal Dolan urged party members to “challenge their leadership to recant this intolerant position.” You can read more from the Statement attached. As active members of any political party, it is incumbent upon us to fight for the voiceless within our party and nation!
