Abortions rise as prenatal care diminishes at Planned Parenthood

After several months of delay, Planned Parenthood finally released its 2015-2016 Annual Report over Memorial Day weekend, celebrating its 100th anniversary and promising to stick around for another 100 years. The report details substantial changes in services over the last fiscal year, namely an increase in abortions and a decrease in prenatal care.

In 2014-2015, Planned Parenthood reported 323,999 abortions. In 2015-2016, that number rose to 328,348—a 13 percent increase. As of this report, Planned Parenthood’s share of the U.S. abortion market now stands at a stunning 35.6 percent.

Meanwhile, prenatal services at Planned Parenthood have been cut in half. In just one year, Planned Parenthood’s prenatal services fell from 17,419 to 9,149.

Additionally, contraception, pregnancy tests, cancer screenings, and breast exams all dropped in 2015-2016. Across the board, Planned Parenthood lost about 100,000 clients.

All the while, taxpayer funding to Planned Parenthood actually increased by nearly $1 million, giving the abortion chain a whopping $554.6 million.

TAKE ACTION >>> Tell Congress to DE-FUND Planned Parenthood now!

As Planned Parenthood continues to demand taxpayer funding, their annual report is telling us exactly why they don’t deserve it. Abortions are rising, but many of its other services (which it’s hidden behind for years to keep the money flowing) are declining.

After 100 years of de-humanization, it’s time the United States cuts its ties with Planned Parenthood. Click here to tell Congress to de-fund Planned Parenthood and forward this email to two friends, asking them to do the same. This annual report should drive us to action! Take a stand for human Life today!
