National Pro-Life Youth Leaders Summit

Looking forward…

We may not always like what happens in Washington, D.C., but this week some really great things came out of our nation’s capital.  I was privileged to  be part of
the National Pro-Life Youth Leaders Summit held at the office of Students For Life.
Along with SFL Executive Director Kristan Hawkins, Field Director Brendan O’Morchoe and other members of their staff were Brian Kemper from Stand True/Priests for Life, Mark Harrington from Created Equal, and representatives from the Center for Bioethical Reform, Feminists for Life, Generation Life, Human Life Alliance, Live Action, Louisiana Right to Life, Rock For Life, and Survivors of the Abortion Holocaust.  The purpose of the summit was to analyze our strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats, and to use that information to structure a plan of action to make our pro-life youth programs stronger and more effective.  We pledged to work together in unity, and  to promote the fact that even though we may not always agree on tactics, that we are on the same side in our mission to protect innocent human lives from conception through natural death.
The summit was invigorating and inspiring, and I came away excited and enthusiastic.  Our youth are our future, and judging by everything we shared at the summit, our future is in great hands!

For Life,

Denise Leipold

Executive Director Right to Life of Northeast Ohio

Claims Versus Actual Abortion

The claims of pro-abortionists and actual abortion experience are miles apart

CNNiReportabortionreBy Kathy Ostrowski, Legislative Director, Kansans for Life Perhaps you had a chance to watch some of the screaming mayhem of pro-abortion activists in Texas this past month as they worked desperately to permanently derail HB 2 in Texas. They, of course, were loudest when they insisted they “spoke” for women. One way to judge that claim might be to see what women who’ve undergone an abortion have to say. Just this past week, there has been a rich treasure trove of information on that very question.

Pro-Life Video Offers Hope Pregnant Mothers

Pro-life music video offers hope to late term pregnant mothers considering abortion

Late-term abortions have been a focal point of the media lately, highlighted by the recent banning of abortions after 20 weeks in Texas. Amid all the controversy over aborting viable unborn babies or allowing them the right to life is the hope that should be offered to expectant parents who are considering abortion in the second and third trimesters. Christcentric, a rap group created in 1998 to bring the gospel to those who have a love of hip-hop culture, and to those who didn’t necessarily grow up with the church, created a song and video to inspire that hope in such parents.

A Father’s Heartbreaking Story

A father’s heartbreaking story…and Planned Parenthood’s response to men like him

Recently, a man I will identify by the initials RDF shared on Facebook a heartbreaking story of loss. His girlfriend was pregnant with twins. She was almost twenty weeks along when she went to Planned Parenthood, considering abortion. I will let him tell the story in his own words:
