BRIEF HISTORY OF SEX ED

A brief history of sex ed: How we reached today’s madness

  • Wed Jul 24 10:20 EST

Children learn that they’re sexual from birth, and that the proper time for sexual activity is when they feel ready. They’re taught that they have rights to pleasure, birth control, and abortion. Once I understood who the founders were—Kinsey, Calderone, Pomeroy, Money, and others—I understood how we got to today’s “comprehensive sexuality education.” I knew how we had reached today’s madness.

MAINSTREAM MEDIA’S SLANTED COVERAGE

The mainstream media’s slanted coverage of the abortion issue has been a problem for decades. But the Kermit Gosnell trial, and now the media’s lionizing pro-abortion Texas state senator Wendy Davis, has revealed mainstream abortion coverage as a farce and an outrage.

That’s why we’re launching the Life March on the Media. We’re calling out mainstream news distributors to stop the abortion censorship and report the facts – in short, to do their jobs.

Please visit our website and sign the Petition to Stop the Abortion Censorship. Read our letters to the “big three” news distributors: ABC, CBS, and NBC.

And get ready to mark your calendar…because in the next few weeks, we will protest outside major media headquarters. Those who claim to speak truth to power need a shot of truth themselves, and we’re going to give it to them…in person.

The Media Research Center reported recently that over 19 days, these networks gave Wendy Davis three times more coverage than they gave the Kermit Gosnell trial over its entire 58-day duration.

Forty-eight minutes and forty seconds for Wendy Davis in 19 days.

Thirteen minutes and thirty seconds for Gosnell in 58 days.

Is this an unbiased, impartial press?

And that doesn’t even begin to cover the extent of the problem.

Americans deserve better than news distributors that choke their broadcasts with bias, that refuse to present a far and accurate portrayal of the abortion debate.

ABC, CBS, and NBC showed photo after photo of Wendy Davis’s shoes, but how many times did they show an image like this?

That’s what Wendy Davis stands for. And that’s what the mainstream media champions when its reporters and broadcasters recite abortion-industry talking points and censor the facts of the abortion debate.

We’ll be sending out details on our rally soon. If you’re in Washington, I hope you’ll join us. In the meantime, sign and share the petition, and help us make the media see that enough is enough. It’s time to tell the truth.

Yours in the fight for life,

THE FIGHT TO DEFEND LIFE

The fight to defend life has radically changed over the past two months. The Kermit Gosnell trial put a face to late-term abortion and forced Americans everywhere to consider its depravity. Our revulsion and disgust led to the historic passage of the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act in the House, which seeks to protect unborn children and their mothers from the horrors of late-term abortion.

Would you believe that it’s been a month since the U.S. House floor was taken over by our courageous pro-life women Representatives? I’m still so proud to have witnessed those strong, pro-life women – all of whom were elected to Congress with the help of the SBA List – defend life with such conviction.

Watch their stand here.

These Congresswomen understood what the fight on this bill was about, protecting women and unborn children from the excruciating pain of abortion. Whether it was Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN) using a 4-D image of our own Billy Valentine’s unborn son, or the impassioned speeches on the U.S. House floor:

“Americans should be asking how different are these snipping procedures from abortions performed throughout clinics in the country. Unfortunately there’s little difference between these procedures. The practice for murdering viable unborn children who can feel pain must end.

-Rep. Virginia Foxx (R-NC)

“We’re talking about human beings, human beings babies for a law long enough and development to feel touch to respond to touch. We’re talking about us.

-Rep. Martha Roby (R-AL)

Their stand on the U.S. House floor will always remain one of the most powerful defenses of life that I’ve ever seen, and I’d like to share our video of their testimonies with you.

But, our fight isn’t over yet. We may have passed this historic legislation in the U.S. House. We may have ended late-term abortion in Texas and other states. But, we still need to get legislation introduced in the Senate, and force a vote on it.

Sign the Stop The Gosnells petition today. Let’s stand by our allies. Demand similar legislation from the U.S. Senate and force Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid to let the U.S. Senate vote, so we can put every single U.S Senator on record. We have to continue the fight to outlaw monsters like Kermit Gosnell.

For life,

Developmental Milestones Reached

The developmental milestones reached by the unborn child at 20 weeks

ABOUT NFP

About NFP

One of the languages the human body “speaks” is the language of love, spoken in a unique way by the sexual powers. At its core, Natural Family Planning (NFP) is really learning about this language of the sexual powers by observing, recording and interpreting the bodily signs of human fertility. In other words, NFP is fertility awareness, the knowledge of a couple’s fertility, and is a means of reading the body’s signs of fertility and infertility. Applying this knowledge through the Sympto-Thermal Method (STM) of NFP, which CCL teaches, is over 99% effective in postponing pregnancy.

CCL has a three-fold approach to teaching NFP:

  • The Sympto-Thermal Method of NFP.
  • The moral underpinnings for the NFP decision.
  • The promotion of exclusive and continued breastfeeding and its effect on fertility.

Jill says it all began when she looked outside the comforts of her stable life and began to think about others who may be less fortunate.
