Virginia matters!

You may not live there, but Virginia should be as important to YOU as it is to me. Virginia is the battleground where we show that life is a winning issue.

There are only two elections this year – and if we lose the only competitive race in the nation between a strong pro-life leader and a radical pro-abortion candidate, it will have serious consequences for both the 2014 midterms and the presidential race in 2016.

On Monday, the National Review Online did a great job hitting all of the important points of why this race matters nationally:

• The race determines if the Republicans will run strong, pro-life conservative candidates;
• Terry McAuliffe, a tragically flawed candidate, is leading; and
• It’s a test run for Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential machine: everything from the staff to fundraising venues.

Pro-life Friend, the nation is starting to focus on Virginia. It’s the test for the elections to come: Will Americans support a pro-life candidate? Were the amazing strides the pro-life movement made this summer just a “flash in the pan”?

Right now, the media is saying that pro-life issues don’t matter to elections.

They’ve seen the fundraising gap: Terry McAuliffe – who supports abortion on-demand right up to birth – is actually leading Cuccinelli by almost 2 to 1 when it comes to fundraising.

We’ve got to fight back.

We can’t a pro-abortion leader like Hillary Clinton use Virgina to kick-start her presidential campaign. That’s why at Women Speak Out – Virginia, we are all in for this race. We’ve committed to fundraising 250,000 dollars for Ken. It’s a lot, but we know it’s what Ken needs to overcome the abortion industry and the Clinton election machine.

Why the Cuccinelli vs. McAuliffe Race Matters to You, Even If You Don’t Live in Virginia

First, does anyone want to argue that Ken Cuccinelli — Virginia’s attorney general, and current GOP candidate for governor — is not a conservative?

• Led the legal challenge to Obamacare.
• Defended Arizona’s immigration enforcement statute.
• Filed legal challenges to the EPA’s findings on greenhouse gases’ being a threat to human health and thus an emission they have the authority to regulate.
• Supports right to life from conception until death, supported and pushed several pro-life bills while in the state legislature.
• Endorsed by the NRA.
