Educate Our Country Reality Abortion

Educate our country on the reality, the gruesomeness, and the utter cruelty of abortion.  Share facts like these with your friends and family:

  1. By 4 weeks’ gestation, a baby in the womb has already formed nearly all of his major organs and body systems.  This includes his heart, which is beating.
  2. The baby’s vocal chords start forming around 10 weeks’ gestation.  He’ll be sucking his thumbwhich has a unique fingerprint – at this time, too.
  3. Every child in the womb is both human and alive from the moment he is conceived.  At no point does he stop being either of those things, only to somehow “regain” his humanity or vitality at an arbitrary gestation point (such as at birth, or even at when he can feel pain).

A little truth goes a long way!  It’s only a matter of time before we make abortion a bad memory – and if you help us, we’ll get it done sooner.

Recently, the National Journal named Lila Rose, our president, one of the 25 Most Influential Washington Women under 35.  When former head of NARAL Nancy Keenan lamented in 2010 the huge lack of young people in the pro-abortion movement, she didn’t know the half of it.

Our message is sticking. And as the National Journal noticed, our influence is only going to grow – especially among the youth.

We recognize how lucky we are to be alive.  And we’re going to make sure the next generation gets the same chance we got.

This is the most important human rights fight of our time.  We’re not quitting, and you shouldn’t, either.  Keep us in your prayers.

No Justice for Tonya Reaves

One Year After Her Death, There’s Only Injustice for Tonya Reaves

July 18, 2013 By

Chicago, IL – It was a beautifully clear picture-postcard summer day in Chicago when Tonya Reaves left her one-year old son for an appointment at a Planned Parenthood abortion clinic, but that sunny Friday morning of July 20, 2012, would be the 24-year old woman’s last day on Earth.

Tonya died from complications to an incomplete second trimester abortion, leaving her little boy motherless.

Planned Parenthood staff allowed Reaves to languish at the clinic after having botched her abortion while she hemorrhaged for 5½ long hours before seeking emergency care. Records show that Planned Parenthood did not call 911 for an ambulance, which was the quickest way to get help for her.

Fatherhood Forever

If you are a man who has experienced abortion loss and is beginning the process of recovery, a good place to start is to reflect on your role in the abortion decision.

You most likely will fit into one of the following six roles:

  • You and your partner agreed to the abortion. You may have supported her by taking her to the clinic and/or paying for the procedure.
  • You pressured your partner to get the abortion. You may have threatened to leave her if she didn’t.
  • You abandoned your partner to avoid the decision all together.
  • You passively left the decision up to your partner. You may have been confused about what to do, or you felt it was entirely her choice.
  • You wanted your child but were unsuccessful in preventing the abortion.
  • You may have offered any means to support her and/or the child.
  • You didn’t even know about the pregnancy and/or the abortion until after it was done.

National Pro-Life Youth Leaders Summit

Looking forward…

We may not always like what happens in Washington, D.C., but this week some really great things came out of our nation’s capital.  I was privileged to  be part of
the National Pro-Life Youth Leaders Summit held at the office of Students For Life.
Along with SFL Executive Director Kristan Hawkins, Field Director Brendan O’Morchoe and other members of their staff were Brian Kemper from Stand True/Priests for Life, Mark Harrington from Created Equal, and representatives from the Center for Bioethical Reform, Feminists for Life, Generation Life, Human Life Alliance, Live Action, Louisiana Right to Life, Rock For Life, and Survivors of the Abortion Holocaust.  The purpose of the summit was to analyze our strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats, and to use that information to structure a plan of action to make our pro-life youth programs stronger and more effective.  We pledged to work together in unity, and  to promote the fact that even though we may not always agree on tactics, that we are on the same side in our mission to protect innocent human lives from conception through natural death.
The summit was invigorating and inspiring, and I came away excited and enthusiastic.  Our youth are our future, and judging by everything we shared at the summit, our future is in great hands!

For Life,

Denise Leipold

Executive Director Right to Life of Northeast Ohio

Claims Versus Actual Abortion

The claims of pro-abortionists and actual abortion experience are miles apart

CNNiReportabortionreBy Kathy Ostrowski, Legislative Director, Kansans for Life Perhaps you had a chance to watch some of the screaming mayhem of pro-abortion activists in Texas this past month as they worked desperately to permanently derail HB 2 in Texas. They, of course, were loudest when they insisted they “spoke” for women. One way to judge that claim might be to see what women who’ve undergone an abortion have to say. Just this past week, there has been a rich treasure trove of information on that very question.
