Looking forward…
We may not always like what happens in Washington, D.C., but this week some really great things came out of our nation’s capital. I was privileged to be part of
the National Pro-Life Youth Leaders Summit held at the office of Students For Life.
Along with SFL Executive Director Kristan Hawkins, Field Director Brendan O’Morchoe and other members of their staff were Brian Kemper from Stand True/Priests for Life, Mark Harrington from Created Equal, and representatives from the Center for Bioethical Reform, Feminists for Life, Generation Life, Human Life Alliance, Live Action, Louisiana Right to Life, Rock For Life, and Survivors of the Abortion Holocaust. The purpose of the summit was to analyze our strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats, and to use that information to structure a plan of action to make our pro-life youth programs stronger and more effective. We pledged to work together in unity, and to promote the fact that even though we may not always agree on tactics, that we are on the same side in our mission to protect innocent human lives from conception through natural death.
The summit was invigorating and inspiring, and I came away excited and enthusiastic. Our youth are our future, and judging by everything we shared at the summit, our future is in great hands!
For Life,
