This Picture Can Save Countless Lives

I’m sure you are familiar with the saying, “a picture is worth a thousand words.” I have a touching story to share with you about a picture that has a pro-life message and how it can be used to help save countless lives.

Several years ago, a young mother walked alone down the streets of inner city Chicago. She was focused only on her destination. Facing an unplanned pregnancy, she had decided to have an abortion. At the clinic, she sat inside the exam room waiting for the procedure to begin. This could have been the beginning of the end, but miraculously, at the last moment, she did not go through with the abortion. She walked out of the clinic and chose to give her child life. In her own words, this mother reveals that she heard what can only be described as the voice of God saying, “Don’t do this… I have a plan for this baby!”

God did have a plan. That baby has grown up to be renowned artist, Ron DiCianni. Gifted with astonishing creative abilities, Ron embarked on a career in illustration. After several decades serving clients such as Fortune 500 companies and the United States Olympic committee, he began to exclusively paint Scriptural themes. Ranked as one of the best-selling artists of all time, Ron’s work has been featured in galleries nationwide and included in both Christian and secular publications, earning seven ECPA God Medallion Awards. Now, he has devoted his latest work of art to conveying the pro-life message. Before I Formed You in the Womb is a stunning portrayal of the sanctity of life. Christ’s hand reaches out to touch the mother’s pregnant stomach, where you see the outline of an unborn child reaching back. Although I rarely find myself at a loss for words (and my wife will readily verify that), there are no words to express the emotions prompted by this painting.

Annual Induced Abortions in Ohio report tables

Induced abortions must be reported to the Ohio Department of Health by the physician who performed the abortion, using the form .Confidential Abortion Reports.. The confidential reports include demographic and medical history information about the woman obtaining the abortion and information about the medical procedure. These reports are used to produce statistical reports about abortions occurring in Ohio. The forms are confidential: no identifying information about women who obtain abortions is collected except the medical record number. Abortion statistics are summarized in the annual Induced Abortions in Ohio report series. Many of the tables in that report are included in the links below. These tables contain statistical information about induced pregnancy terminations for Ohio and counties. Terminations are tabulated by age, race, marital status and education of women obtaining procedures and by gestation in weeks of fetus.

“I went to sleep with a baby and woke up without one”

June 20, 2013

Penelope TrunkBy Dave Andrusko No two pro-lifers will read personal accounts written by women who’ve had abortions and come away with exactly the same conclusions. Of course, we would all lament the loss of these children and fervently wish the moms

Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act (H.R. 1797) passed

The vote on the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act (H.R. 1797) passed the House 228-196. As expected, the vote fell out mostly along party lines in a 228-196 vote — just six Democrats voted for it, and six Republicans opposed it.
Democrats voting for the bill were Reps. Henry Cuellar (Texas), Dan Lipinski (Ill.), Jim Matheson (Utah), Mike McIntyre (N.C.), Collin Peterson (Minn.) and Nick Rahall (W.Va.). Republicans voting against it were Reps. Paul Broun (Ga.), Charlie Dent (Pa.), Rodney Frelinghuysen (N.J.), Richard Hanna (N.Y.), Jon Runyan (N.J.) and Rob Woodall (Ga.).
As controversial as the bill is, however, today’s House vote likely ends the process in Congress, as the Democratic Senate is not expected to consider it at all. President Obama threatened to veto the measure on Monday.

Trent Franks Was Right: 95% of Women Who are Raped Don’t Become Pregnant
A new Federal law that would protect pre-born babies that can feel pain from abortion is set for a vote in the full House on Tuesday, June 18, 2013, while its primary sponsor falls under attack by pro-abortion fanatics that support late-term abortion without restriction. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/06/17/trent-franks-was-right-95-of-women-who-are-raped-dont-become-pregnant/

Make Them Ring!

The vote on the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act (H.R. 1797) is scheduled for TOMORROW, and that’s why I’m asking you to take just one minute out of your day to call your Representative right now and urge them to vote for the bill.

Call your Representative right now. You will be provided with a phone number and talking points.

As I walk through the halls of Congress today and tomorrow, it is my hope that I’ll hear the phones ringing off the hook in every single office I pass or visit!

We desperately need Members of Congress to be a voice for unborn children.

And sometimes the only way we can get some Members to be a voice for these children is if they hear YOUR voice – the voices of constituents urging them to fight for these babies and their mothers.

Please, lend your voice for unborn children now. Call your Representative.

This is the most critical moment in Congress for the pro-life movement since the fight to ban partial-birth abortions.

While the ban on partial-birth abortion only banned a particular type of late-term procedure, this bill would put an end to late-term abortions starting at 20-weeks all together. It would protect an entire class of unborn children – something that’s never been done in Congress before.

Call now, and don’t forget to forward this e-mail to as many of your like-minded friends as possible!
