Yesterday at a press conference, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi was asked what the moral difference is between what Dr. Kermit Gosnell did to babies born alive and aborting those same infants in the womb, moments before birth. As a practicing Catholic, Nancy Pelosi knows full well there’s no moral difference between the atrocities of Kermit Gosnell and abortions in the womb.
She also knows that politics has everything to do with it: The bill she is trying to shut down – the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act — would protect these babies and women from the pain of late-term abortion. Pelosi’s refusal to answer shows how scared she and the pro-abortion lobby are of the bill, which is exactly why they are trying to shut it down. They’ve seen the same polling we have: The majority of Americans reject late-term abortion. The bill is scheduled to hit the House floor next week – but it won’t if Pelosi and the pro-abortion lobby have their way.
